Patient's Condition

Although she had been aware of lower back pain now and then, it did not interfere with her daily activities, until three years ago, neuralgia appeared. Recently the pain started increasing with every step every time she started walking, so she decided to pay us a visit.

The MRI examination of the lower back revealed the collapsed intervertebral discs. Deformation indicated disc herniation and spice stenosis. The leg nerves were probably compressed, resulting in inflammation that caused the symptoms.

Discseel Procedure (DST)

Treatment was performed on four intervertebral disc locations (L2/L3, L3/L4, L4/L5, L5/S1) aiming to improve the neuralgia.

The patient was quite nervous so he decided that it would be better, to perform the Discseel Procedure (DST) under sedation, and the treatment began after the patient fell asleep.

We utilized both straight and U-shaped Tuohy needles for the treatment to accommodate the deformation of the lumbar vertebrae.

The video shows the examinations on the intervertebral discs. Following this, intervertebral disc treatment will be performed.

The photos show the before and after treatment conditions of the lumbar vertebrae. The right side represents the pre-treatment condition, while the left side shows the post-treatment result. The treatment duration was approximately 18 minutes. The patient woke up approximately one minute after the treatment was completed.

A Message from the Clinic`s Director

Yesterday, on Sunday, I exerted myself while weeding in my backyard, resulting in a rash on my left hand and a cut on my left ring finger. Today, I'm experiencing some pain. Although our clinic is located in the central area near Shin-Osaka Station, my home is in Nara. I have always enjoyed working with soil, and I take pleasure in tending to my garden. I openly declare my dream of living a self-sufficient life in the countryside. However, since I have no experience working on a farm, I need to be cautious when it comes to gardening.
