Illness and Symptoms
Patient's Condition
Today's patient is Masayuki Minami, the president of Sayaka Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, who is my senior from my university ski club. We have been skiing together every year since graduating from university, and we have been friends for 30 years. However, he has been suffering from repeated bouts of low back pain since last year, and he has been getting worse every day, so he came to Tokyo to see me for treatment.
Examination

The MRI of his lower back showed that the intervertebral discs between the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae and between the 5th lumbar vertebrae and the 1st sacral vertebra were dark because of the degeneration, indicating a herniated disc. The disc volume was reduced by about 30% and it was judged that there was a high probability of annular fiber damage.

He was shocked.
Procedure
Discseel Procedure
We performed an Annulogram test, and as expected, disc damage was confirmed, so we performed Dsiscseel Procedure (disc repair treatment).

He was put to sleep under sedation because he did not want to feel any pain at all.
The disc damage was confirmed. We performed the disc seal treatment as planned. The damage was as straightforward as his personality.

Minami-san: "When can I ski?"
I: "You'll be able to make it to the backcountry tour on March 10th."
We had this conversation.
Treatment video is available
A word from the president
Recently, the number of medical professionals who have come for treatment has been increasing, and it seems that they have seen my treatment video and trusted me because I have received treatment myself.

Yesterday, I bought a lot of strawberries on special at the supermarket, and I ate so many that my stomach hurt. I shouldn't have overdone it.
Also, I am planning to play golf on April 9th, and I am thinking of using Titleist PRO V1 balls.
