Patient's Condition
The patient is the father of my classmate from university. My classmate is a urologist practicing in Takatsuki City, Osaka (Ito Clinic). The patient himself has a history of spinal surgery, and his sciatica symptoms recently recurred, so he visited our clinic on my classmate's referral.
Examination

MRI and X-ray of the lower back. Although bolts have already been implanted, a new problem has appeared in an area where bolts were not implanted this time.
Treatment Details
Discseel Procedure
By performing the Discseel Procedure on the damaged area of the intervertebral disc, we aimed to improve the function of the disc and the inflammation around the nerves, thereby improving the sciatica symptoms.
Annulogram of the intervertebral disc was performed. The damaged area was shown in black, and the Discseel Procedure was performed.

These are X-ray photos before and after treatment. The left side is before treatment, and the right side is after treatment. After the treatment, I received a call from my classmate, and we talked about going golfing together soon. Now, I wonder if my wife will allow it... I'll do my best.
A Word from the Director
Today, my eldest son, a third-year junior high school student, is visiting the Osaka Expo. It was sunny until yesterday, but it's raining only today. I myself plan to go as it's a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I'm thinking of asking my son which pavilions are good.

Well, yesterday the Hanshin Tigers unfortunately lost to the Giants, but we are still in first place. Tomorrow starts Golden Week with a 9-game series – I hope we can win 6 of them.
