This patient has been experiencing back pain from a herniated disc and sciatic nerve pain for over five years. In August 2024, his symptoms worsened to the point where he could no longer drive, forcing him to take leave. He underwent DRT treatment at our clinic. Today, he returned to obtain a medical certificate to resume work.

Examination

This is an MRI image before and after treatment. The image on the right is before treatment (August 2024), and the image on the left is today (September 2024). Improvement is visible in the L3/4 herniation.
Consultation Results
One month after treatment, the nerve symptoms have disappeared, indicating a good recovery. Since there is a possibility of muscle strength reduction during the leave, we have provided core muscle training instructions to support the patient's return to work.
Message from the Director
I also underwent DRT (Disc Regeneration Therapy) on May 8, and my sciatic nerve pain disappeared in about three weeks, which I think is a fairly quick response to the treatment. I plan to take another MRI in November and will share the results with everyone. Today, I had a consultation at our Tokyo clinic, and afterward, I plan to watch the Hanshin Tigers vs. Yokohama DeNA game at Yokohama Stadium at 6 PM.
