Patient Information

Male, in his 60s

Disease/Symptoms

Patient's Condition

The patient enjoys playing tennis, but for the past year has experienced pain and numbness in the right calf. At the beginning of this year, he developed new nerve pain in his right buttock, which prevented him from playing tennis since April. Oral medication was ineffective, and he was advised to undergo surgery, but the patient refused and visited our clinic.

Examination

MRI

This is an MRI result of the lower back. There is deformation and compression of the disc, as well as narrowing of the spinal canal, diagnosed as spinal stenosis.

Treatment

DRT Method (Disc Regeneration Treatment)

To reduce inflammation in the disc and surrounding area, as well as alleviate nerve symptoms, we performed DRT (Disc Regeneration Treatment).

Treatment ①

Following the blood collection, the patient was positioned prone on the operating table. We administered a sedative via IV, and the patient fell asleep.

Treatment ②

An NST needle is inserted into the disc. Without the sedative, the patient would feel pain.

This is the examination of the disc. The volume of the disc has clearly decreased, and the Annulogram test shows a positive result (there is damage to the annulus fibrosus). The treatment time was 22 minutes.

Words from the Clinic Director

Today, a patient who was treated six years ago came back. The patient fell while participating in a karaoke contest and injured his lower back. Due to back pain that lasted more than two weeks, we performed an X-ray examination and found a compression fracture in the first lumbar vertebra. We recommended complete rest for two months.

Our clinic has entered its seventh year, and the number of patients we treat continues to grow. We will keep striving, so we ask for your continued support.
