Diseases and Symptoms
Patient Condition
The patient has been experiencing back pain for over 10 years, but since June of last year, she started having worsening sciatica, making it difficult for her to sleep due to the constant pain. This time, she came to our clinic upon the recommendation of a friend who had received treatment at our clinic.
Examination Results and Diagnosis

The MRI examination of the patient's back shows that the disc between the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae has deformed, narrowing the spinal canal where the nerves pass. We concluded that the patient's sciatica is caused by spinal canal stenosis.
Treatment Method
DRT (Disc Regeneration Treatment) Method
Given the severe pain, we performed DRT on this patient.

The patient was relaxed. Currently, about 80% of patients request sedatives during the procedure. A catheter is inserted through the skin to a depth of approximately 10 cm into the disc.
We are confirming the damaged area of the disc. The damaged area appears black. If there is no damage, we will consider laser therapy or Discogel (Cellgel) therapy.

DRT is being performed on the patient's disc. The treatment time was 23 minutes.
Message from the Clinic Director
The number of patients from the Middle East continues to increase. It seems there is a community of people suffering from back pain abroad who recommend our clinic's treatment through social media. Since I cannot speak Arabic, we use interpreters to assist with communication. We are also seeing more patients from Southeast Asia and Central Asia, and our clinic days are becoming more internationally diverse.
By the way, today there is a professional All-Star Game. From our Hanshin Tigers team, Chikamoto, Saiki, Nakano, Kirishiki, and Iwasaki have been selected to participate. I plan to watch the game and relax as I do so. Haha
