Disease/Symptoms

Patient's Condition

The patient has endured a lot of stress on his back due to work and sports since his youth. Until last year, he was still engaged in activities such as diving, but his back pain worsened to the point where he could no longer exercise. On the recommendation of his family, he visited our clinic. According to him, "Holding onto pain makes life meaningless!" "After retirement, it's time to live life fully!!" (Translated via interpreter)

Examination

MRI

This is the MRI result of the lower back. There is damage and deformation of the cushioning discs. The nerves in the legs are also affected, and it was diagnosed as spinal stenosis.

Treatment

DRT Method (Disc Regeneration Treatment)

Because surgery could hinder the patient's ability to exercise, we decided to perform DRT (Disc Regeneration Treatment). I (Yasuyuki Nonaka) conducted the consultation, but the treatment was performed by Dr. Ishida.

Treatment ①

As we did not use sedatives, we used a lot of local anesthetics.

Treatment ②

The patient was given an explanation of the examination results and treatment details via video. The treatment time was 23 minutes.

Words from the Clinic Director

After the treatment, the patient mentioned that he plans to go skydiving once his back pain is healed. Is skydiving like this?

The statement "Holding onto pain makes life meaningless" left a strong impression on me. I also want to live without regret, following my own rhythm.
