This patient is 1 year and 6 months post-treatment. She underwent Discseel Procedure for spinal canal stenosis in December 2023. While her previous sciatica and numbness improved, she developed pain in the sole of her right foot around April of this year and sought medical attention.

MRI Examination Results

MRI Photo

These are MRI images before and after treatment. The image on the right is before treatment (December 1, 2023), and the image on the left is from today (May 17, 2025). Spinal canal stenosis is observed, but there are no findings indicating worsening.

Examination Results

During the examination, pain appeared mainly in the heel area of the right sole, not accompanied by sensory impairment. There was pain upon pressure, and sudden pain appeared when walking. Plantar fasciitis was suspected, and upon questioning, she had switched to new shoes around April. It was determined to be plantar fasciitis, and rehabilitation was recommended, explaining that it would improve in about 1-2 months. It's often surprising that inflammation in the fascia of the sole can occur just from changing shoes, which often surprises patients. I was quite startled since she was a post-treatment patient. Phew.

A Word from the Director

About one year has passed since I underwent the DRT method (Disc Regeneration Treatment). My sciatica has not recurred, and I've been progressing well, even enjoying golf recently, but I'm thinking of getting an MRI examination soon. I plan to report the examination results on YouTube, so I hope you'll watch it.
