Patient's Condition

The patient has been experiencing occasional lower back pain for several years, but outside of sports activities, the pain has not been too bothersome. He saw a friend return to exercising after receiving treatment at our clinic, which motivated him to come for an examination.

Imaging Examination

The MRI examination showed slight deformation in the disc between the fifth lumbar vertebra and the first sacral vertebra, diagnosed as disc hernia.

Discseel® Treatment (Discseel® Procedure)

Due to his many hobbies, such as sports and ball games, and wanting to eliminate concerns about future back pain, disc treatment was performed.

I (Nonaka) was responsible for this treatment, supported by Deputy Clinic Director Ishida from the next room.

There was no bone deformation, so inserting the treatment tube into the disc took only 1-2 minutes.

The disc examination revealed damage to the nerve side, so disc treatment was carried out.

The treatment time was 12 minutes.
